Thoughts on practicing!

I am reading "Driven" by Daniel Pink, and this caught my attention. It's something we all know, but need reminders now and then.

More steps closer to mastery!

*Remember that deliberate practice has one objective: to improve performance.
*Repeat, repeat, repeat.
*See constant, critical feedbck.
*Focus ruthlessly on where you need help.
*Prepare for the process to be metally and physically exhausting.

I try to teach my orchestra students this process, and it helps!

How do you know if it's correct? Critical feedback (good friend, teacher, parent)

Have a blessed day!
